Synopsis
January 2008 David recorded a new documentary series to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of Henry VIII's coronation. He played the real-life figure of George Cavendish, Cardinal Wolsey's secretary. The series was produced by RedhouseDOX productions; it was directed by David Sington who directed the award winning series "In the Shadow of the Moon".
It was presented by television historian David Starkey and focused on dispelling the myths of Henry by dissecting facts purely from primary source material, and was accompanied by a new exhibition at the British Library.
